You may have heard the saying, “Nothing good happens after midnight,” but surely this does not apply to dreaming.
Inspiration often surfaces in your dreams or wakes you up in the middle of the night.
When you are relaxed and not bogged down by a million and one things in your daily life, you are open to receive.
And these ideas are usually the most powerful ideas to cross your mind. Midnight messages bring big ideas.
Many people don’t remember their dreams. But if you set an intention before sleep that you would like to recall your dreams upon awakening–you might be surprised that you start remembering these midnight messages.
Keep a dream journal next to your bed so you can write down your dream before your feet hit the ground. I tend to forget the dream once I get out of bed.
You can read through your journal after a few days and start connecting any patterns that continue to come up–leading you to your next big idea or something you need to work on in your life.
There are books that can guide you in interpreting the symbols in your dreams. One I like is Dream Dictionary by Tony Crisp. Entries are in alphabetical order for easy reference.
Recently, I woke up in the middle of the night with an idea that I knew I needed to implement. I love words, especially positive ones, so my idea involved starting the Instagram account @1day1word2live.
The concept is that people message me words and I post one word per day and tag the person who sent it to me. I include a short motivational message surrounding the word.
The goal is to inspire by spreading the word.
This is just one example of a midnight message. It can happen to you, too.
Sweet dreams.
